Happy Birthday to me!

It was my birthday yesterday. If anyone knows me they know that it is a big deal. Despite our accident (see post below) we still made my birthday fun. My whole family went bowling on Saturday including my dad which he was a really good sport since it was the first time after his knee surgery. Preston and I spent that night at home watching movies. Preston and Zach picked out my beautiful princess cake. Thanks to everyone.

Zach was really excited for cake.

My boys doing their cheesy smiles.

Of course Zach isn't looking.

Ooops!

If anyone has ever wondered what a car looks like after hitting a deer on the freeway going 80mph looks like this is it.....

We were coming home from my mom's last Wednesday when we got to the Summit exit. Preston was driving and I turned to see if Zach was asleep. Next thing I know I hear a big crash. We pulled over and this is the result. Luckily we are all ok, except for the car, and it was a lot better than it could have been.

Happy New Year!

Sorry this is picture overload. It is also very confusing and out of order, but it's mostly for my memories so sorry. This top picture is of Preston and I after hitting a ramp.
Isn't he so cute!

Amy and me at the bottom of the hill.
Another cute one.

I showed Zach that he could eat snow and since he loves eating that's all he wanted to do for the rest of the time.

Group shot yelling SNOW!
Preston and Zach which Zach screamed all the way down. We tried it again as a family with Zach in the middle and he loved that.

We went sledding today for New Years. We took our family, my sister Amy and her son Scott and my other nephew Gideon. We found a really fun slope in Parowan. Even my sister got in the action despite her not wearing any snow clothes.

Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas!

It was Preston's birthday on Christmas Eve and this is the cake that we picked for him.
Christmas morning was really fun. Zach was so excited to see his tent that Santa brought him.

Santa also brought him a cowboy costume.

This is how excited he was to see all of his presents from santa. I hope everybody had as good as Christmas as we did.

Christmas Program

We went to watch my nephew at his church Christmas program. When we were waiting to start this old lady told Zach that he should go sit with the rest of the kids. Before I knew it he was at the top sitting by Scott. He didn't really know what was going on or any of the songs, but that's what made it funny. In the middle of the program Scott had to go on stage because he was a shepard so Zach followed him and just stood there front and center staring at baby Jesus. It was really funny.
